Walking in the clean, bright lobby of East-Urban Auto Service, a 1939 Texaco fire chief gas pump draws customers' curiosity and questions.
Though the owners, Jeri and Camille Lucas have an affection for things nostalgic, East-Urban Auto Service has state-of-the-art equipment to keep up with the ever-changing automotive industry.
Founded in 1994, East-Urban's commitment to excellence doesn't stop with its equipment. With an average of 15 years experience each, the shop's ASE certified technicians continue to educate themselves about today's autos.
Located off interstate-405 in totem lake, the full-service auto repair shop handles both foreign and domestic vehicles.
The shop has a genuine small-town friendliness; respect, courtesy, and a cup of coffee are served up to customers. Jeri and camille are long-time residents. They met and married after high school, keeping their roots in Kirkland. Jeri graduated from Juanita High and Camille from across the lake at Roosevelt. The couple takes pride in sharing ownership with their son Jason who now manages the day to day operations. In fact, the entire staff of five technicians and assistant manager is like an extention of the family.
Many customers comment on how comfortable they feel bringing their vehicles in for repairs, for which Jeri is quick to acknowledge: East-Urban Auto Service owes a lot of its growth and success to the Greater Eastside community and a strong network of friends and associates built over the years.
